Why I wanted to start living unconditionally?
Because I got damn tired of being on an emotional rollercoaster.
That’s right. The emotional ups and downs that we suffer from on a daily basis come from *drum roll please * CONDITIONS!
We are surrounded by conditions everyday allday. What’s going on with our family, our spouse, our business, our job, traffic, our kids, the lines in the supermarket. Conditions, conditions conditions! All of these and then some are situations that can disrupt our inner peace. We hear alot about unconditional love, but what about unconditional happiness? Unconditional peace? Unconditional joy?
After listening to countless Esther Hicks videos it finally clicked that I had to become unconditional in all that I do if I want to maintain my alignment with my inner Source AND live a unconditionally fulfilling life. I don’t know about any of you but for me that emotional rollercoaster is capital D-R-A-I-N-I-N-G. You can go through so many highs and lows emotionally in one day that it’ll leave your head spinning.
I’m not a master at this yet but I have come along way in a short amount of time. I would say in the last two months I’ve been feeling my best despite anything that have been going on around me. I’m getting a pretty good handle on it. Now let me let you in on another really really reallyyyyy good reason why you may want to try living the unconditional lifestyle.
As I stated previously, by living unconditionally you can maintain your connection to your inner Source/God/The Universe; whatever you wish to call it. So by doing that, you become a more open valve to receive all kinds of inspired ideas, your energy is higher, things start to manifest easier in your life and guess what? Many of those conditions that would’ve caused you emotional upset tend to transform right before your eyes!
You see we’ve been taught backwards. We’ve been taught to be conditional, forceful and controlling of our external environments, which ends up sucking the life right out of you. But when you learn the art of detachment and withdraw all of your energy and power back within yourself you then become the influencer of your environment instead of the influenced. And things start to just fix themselves.
Ok so listen, let me give you a quick example. I have road rage. I tried to deny it but aye, it is what it is. You can’t heal what you don’t reveal right? So anyway, I was in my car and got on the beltway and it was so backed up that my 30 minute drive was supposed to take me an hour. Now initially I would’ve been irritated and fussing the whole ride; but not this time. I calmed down, turned on some of my favorite music and continuously told myself that the great thing about this was that I wouldn’t be in traffic forever. About 15 minutes into my drive, traffic magically cleared up. I was smooth sailing and my 30 minute drive only ended up being 45 minutes. I have no doubt it was because I let go of that conditional frustrating energy and just allowed myself to be in the moment, accept it for what it was and made the best of it. The universe is pretty amazing isn’t it? Just imagine the miraculous things that’ll take place in your life once you’re able to maintain this type of energy.
So just try it out, I promise you won’t regret it. I have plenty more to share on this subject so I’m sure there will be a part 2 to this post. I also have a bunch of tips on how you can start living the most fulfilling unconditional life only one can imagine. Just shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can talk about it.
